Longstanding Neck Problem

'I wasn't sure if anything was being done when I first came for treatment, it was so subtle and gentle, it didn't seem like he was moving his hands.  However, as soon as I got up off the couch I could tell the difference.  My neck felt looser and it felt more mobile.  The improvement continued with more treatments until it was okay and even my headaches have disappeared.  I still don't really understand what he did, but it works.'

Acute Low Back Problem

'I could hardly get on the couch I was in so much pain.  I really didn't care what he did as long it relieved the pain.  Whilst on the couch I could feel heat coming from his hands and a tingling in both my feet.  In a strange way where he placed his hands made my back feel better.  I was tentative in getting off the couch but realised that it was a lot easier to move.  The pain hadn't vanished altogether but was certainly much easier. I really don't have a clue what he did despite the explanation he gave.'

Sinusitis

'I'd been suffering from sinusitis for many years and had tried all sorts of different medications to the point of even considering surgery.  I must admit I was rather sceptical about seeing Richard but after a few treatments I could sense that my sinuses were draining as I was having treatment.  After 6 more treatments my sinuses were fine.  He explained that some of the problem was in my neck affecting drainage from my head and also compression in the back of my head affecting drainage within my head.'

Migraines

'I'd lost count of the number of headaches and migraines my daughter had suffered from.  We were quite desperate and had tried quite a number of different alternative therapies.  Richard explained that the problem was the result of a very difficult birth in which forceps had been used forcefully to deliver my daughter.  She had never seemed very settled as a baby and was a bad sleeper.  Richard explained that there was a lot of retained compression in her head as a result of the forceps.  After 5 treatments the migraines had gone completely and she was only getting the occasional headache.  We are delighted with the progress she has made, she's like a different person altogether, so much more energetic.'   

Colic

'I brought my 8 week old baby to Richard suffering from colic.  She just didn't sleep day or night and seemed to be in pain.  She really struggled to pass wind and her stomach would go hard.  Richard explained that the the base of her head was compressed and that this was possibly irritating a nerve going to her abdomen causing tension and discomfort.  I remember on her first treatment she seemed to like what was being done, it was so gentle.  She was a bit worse that night but after that just kept on improving.  She only needed 2 more treatments after that, I am just so grateful, I can enjoy spending time with her now.'
